I spearheaded the rebranding of the "Unreliable Witness" podcast, aiming to enhance its legibility and accessibility while aligning it with the current Sky News standards. This project also included the production of a 30-minute special report documentary uncovering new evidence, such as diary extracts and names revealed in court cases. As the sole designer on this project, I was responsible for creating all promotional and motion design assets. Using After Effects and Photoshop, I developed a fresh, dynamic, and engaging visual identity for both the podcast and the documentary.
One of the main challenges was staying up-to-date with current podcast trends and competition. Balancing the needs of editorial producers and marketing teams required careful coordination and adaptability. Through continuous research and effective communication, I ensured that the rebrand met the high standards expected by Sky News. The result was a slick update that has been well-received for its engaging and dynamic presentation. The new episode and special report documentary have successfully captured the audience's attention, providing a fresh perspective on the ongoing investigation.
